A growth chart for my growing boys!

So, I've been wanting something to keep track of my growing little ones for awhile, but wanted something, cute for their room that I knew would last! I was inspired by a friend of mine who used a 4 foot piece of wood on her kids wall, so I thought I'd do the same thing and use their colors that we used on their room wall!
Got my 4 foot piece of wood from Lowe's for like $5 or something. Super cheap. I taped the different sections..
Then I painted it.
Then taped it again, and painted the other sections gray.
Then I cut out 5 squares of airplane scrapbook paper, all the same size.
And then mod podged the papers on the different parts of the board, and as you can see, Ayden tried to help me paint! ;p
Here it is after the modpodge and touch ups..
I got these 2 little wood pieces to glue onto the growth chart from Hobby Lobby for like .70 cents a piece!
Here it is after gluing the pieces on and writing the boys name with a white paint pen.
Then I measured the wood to add the inch and foot markers!
And here's the finished product! I don't have it hung up on the wall yet, but will post a photo of it when the hubs gets to it!
