Camera phone madness! & silly stuff..

Have you ever had those moments where your kid(s) is/are doing something, and you don't have your camera right by you, but your phone is there?! That's me! I have a big, nice camera that I use most of the time, but it's not usually in reach for the spur of the moment. And then I have a little point & shoot that I stick in my purse or take videos with, but my iPhone has a camera on it, that isn't amazing quality, but it gets the job done for those times where you just want to remember that very moment! Kind of like this...

With all the projects and everything, I've gotten behind on posting about what the boys have been saying/doing. We've had an extremely busy couple of weeks, and they are only seem to be getting busier. So I'm catchin' up!

For the past few weeks I've been doing a Beth Moore Bible study with our church, it's amazing, I must add. But anyway, I usually do the homework right when I lay Ayden down, and while Caleb is calming down and having his quiet time on the couch. I've found that he actually falls asleep more often than not when I'm sitting with him, and it's sweet time too. :) Anyway, he had his magna doodle during his quiet time the other day, and drew a picture. He said, "Mommy, look! I drew Jesus walking on the water!" Soo very cute.

We also recently got haircuts. From his first haircut to about 3.5, Caleb screamed during haircuts. It was horrible. He finally outgrew that after realizing the clippers won't hurt him if he actually sat still! But anyway, our other little man, Ayden, he's a piece of cake, and then some. :) He actually LAUGHS during his haircuts! It's so adorable. He's ticklish there and just giggles away. I don't think he's ever actually cried during a haircut. He's too cute.

Now everytime we go into a store, Caleb has to bring his quarters (one for him and his brother) for GUMBALLS! They love love love gumballs.

Recently we had a bit of the stomach flu hit our home hard! Luckily Darryl & I didn't get it, but the poor little guys of the house did. They were so cuddly and so calm, but I missed their spunkiness! They definitely made up for it the next day though..

Caleb's first season of t-ball is coming up soon!! We are so excited for it!! We went to Target a couple of days ago to pick out a bat, glove, and ball.

And you know Ayden had to get some gear too! He was pretty excited.. :)

The boys have been saying some really funny things lately, I however keep forgetting to write them all down! Epic fail for Momma! I do remember that Caleb called a camel a hump horse, which was pretty funny I thought! Ayden is making sentences like no man's business, and it is so exciting to hear! He has a CUUUUTE voice and adorable smile that's hard to say no to. Yet, I still have to do it. ;)

Lastly, yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day! It got up to the 60's and was so nice, so we decided to go to the reservoir and feed the ducks and have a picnic before Daddy had to head to work. I went to grab my point and shoot camera, but the battery was dead. I wasn't going to bring my big camera because I just didn't feel like it, so camera phone to the rescue! LOL We had a ton of fun.

Speaking of Dixie, she saw the ducks and jumped in and swam for the first time!

It. was. hilarious.

And gathered pine cones for a fire! Yay for camera phones because it works when you have nothing else with you! ;)
