*********
We woke up at 130am and were out the door by 2 on Monday morning. We figured driving at night would be best with the boys sleeping and it was! They slept until about 8 and then Caleb watched a movie and Ayden enjoyed a few games of peek a boo and jamming on his piano. :) We got to our first stop, Livorno, around 11. Our room wasn't ready to be checked into yet so we went to the shower rooms they had for the cabins and changed our clothes since it was actually hot there! Yes! It was like 75 degrees and sooooo nice outside! It was beautiful. In Graf it had been in the 40s, so it was a great change! Anyway, then we headed over to Pisa, which was only like 20 minutes away! It was really neat to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but the city itself wasn't all that amazing. BUT, after seeing the tower we stopped for gelato, and man that was amazing! Haha. We all really enjoyed it! :)
Then after eating our gelato, we headed back towards our hotel to catch something to eat and to check out the beach! All the beaches had closed on September 15th, but at the very end of the beaches they had all of these rocks with access to water from the Tyrrhenian Sea! So we didn't get to go on the beach, but at least we did get to see the beach front view :) It was sooo gorgeous! And Caleb LOVED throwing the rocks in the water. He had such a good time doing that, and was pretty upset when we had to leave!
