Paris.. Day 2!

Even though we were tired from the day before, we got up around 530 on Saturday morning to shower & get ready for breakfast! We all were ready and in the breakfast room at 7am. We ate what they had which was lame, but whatever, it was food, and headed to the shuttle. We took that same shuttle back to Disney because the train station was right there! So handy. So we got to the train station (we had gotten our train tickets the previous day) and as we were about to head down the escalator Ayden threw up all of his yogurt from breakfast. It was horrible! I don't know why it didn't agree with him, but it didn't. I didn't have another jacket for him, and it was miserably cold, so we cleaned him up the best we could and headed to catch our train into the city. We got on our train, (mind you, this is Mine, Darryl's, Caleb's, AND Ayden's first train ride ever)and Caleb was in love!

He thought it was the coolest thing ever!! It was about a 40 minute train ride into the city and both boys did great. No more sickness from Ayden, so I guess it WAS the yogurt.

We got to the city, went up the stairs from the train, and saw

this BEAUTY!

The train dropped us off right by the Arc de Triomphe. It was so large and so beautiful.

When traveling in Italy last October, we used the big red bus tour, and we were using it again that day in Paris!

It was great since the weather was kind of bad. Our first stop after getting on the bus was the Eiffel tower! We were so excited.

It was so massive and beautiful!!

The architecture was just. amazing.

We took an elevator up to the second floor where there was a bakery.

We had a great time eating crepes!! We all loved them. And they went perfectly with hot chocolate on such a cold day!

The snow/ice sculptures on the second level of the Eiffel tower were beautiful. But boy was it ever COLD up there!!! The view was so worth it

though. It was SO amazingly breathtaking.

After defrosting for a bit, we headed back down the elevator, and headed to find our next bus stop, and get a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower. We had to walk quite a ways just to be able to fit it all in the frame! And THEN it started snowing like crazy!!! Yucko!

We got on the bus and headed to the Lourve.. still cold but loving every second!! We even got to see the Mona Lisa!!

We also stopped by the Notre Dame, and some great little shops down by the alley near it.

Then, we went back to the Eiffel Tower to see it lit up at night!

We got back on the bus afterwards and found the Hard Rock Cafe!! Our fave place to stop for food while traveling Europe!!

And then headed back to the hotel around 9ish. We were all COLD and so worn out!

The next morning, we got everything ready and went to check out at our hotel.

The kids loved the lobby and really enjoyed playing in it before we hit the road.

We decided to drive through the city to see a few things..

We also stopped by the Moulin Rouge to see it.

Pretty awesome!

SO long Paris!!

Paris, France! Day 1...

We headed off for Paris around 130am on Friday morning. We were all really excited to go! (except for the boys, they were just happy to still be in pj's and fell asleep really quickly after getting in the car) Anyway. it was about a 7hr drive to Paris, give or take, and since we left so early it seemed to fly by for me since I was not the one driving. LOL Poor Darryl. Anyway, we got to the hotel and checked in early, got all our stuff situated in the room, and then got on the free shuttle from our hotel to Disneyland Paris. It was like a 5 minute bus ride, and Caleb LOVED it. He loves all forms of public transportation because "they have bigger wheels then our racecar does" LOL. Anyway, we got to Disney right when it opened at 10 and there were like no lines! It was awesome!

The first character we saw was Mickey, so that was neat. Caleb thought that was pretty cool!

We did Buzz Lightyear for our first ride and Cbear loved it. Ayden just thought all the lights were fascinating.

Then we passed by Space Mountain, so Darryl of course had to do that one. I was going to do it after him but then something was wrong with it, so we went on to the next thing. We did It's a Small world, dumbo, a flying rocketship one, a Pirates of the carribean water thing which we all really liked, and a ton more! I can't remember all of them but we had such a blast.

We stopped for lunch at this one place that only had chicken nuggets, fries and hotdogs, that sort of thing. So we got chicken nuggets and fries for the boys, and I just ate fries. ( I hate chicken nuggets or any type of fried chicken unless it's homemade!)

Anyway, then while we were eating a little train parade came by, it was so neat.

Caleb LOVED it! After that was over we headed out for more rides and stuff and a few hours later Darryl & I found a yummy burger place and a playground near all the pirate stuff so we sat & ate while Caleb played in the play area. He really enjoyed that. It was only for 3-6 yr o;ds,

so Ay stayed with us. He didn't mind that though! He was very easy because he kept falling asleep in between all the different lands and rides. At about 4pm we had finished all the rides and fun(and I got to finally ride Space Mtn. LOL, it was time for the big parade! It was so neat. I got alot of awesome pics from it since Ay was asleep in the stroller and Darryl had Caleb on his shoulders.

Caleb loved it because it had like ALL of the characters from the movies in it! It was so neat. We had such an awesome time there and I'm so glad we went! As we were heading back to where we wait for the shuttle, there were these artists that draw your face, so we had one of each done of the boys. They are so cool! I don't think Ayden's looks much like him, but I can totally see Caleb in his! I'll have to get photos of them. We got on our "pink bus" as Cbear called it and we were happy to be back in the hotel. The boys played and walked around a bit in the room and then they crashed hard! LOL It was such an awesome day!
