Caleb finished his last day of preschool 2 days after his birthday, and 3 days before his big party, so that's why I haven't had time to post about it much, but I didn't want to leave it out!
Here's his "we're on our last full week of school" smile. :)
He worked diligently on his papers, doing many without needing my help!
I'm so glad I'll have an ABC curriculum for Ayden next year, because he
LOVES doing "school" like bubba.
This is such a cute pic to me, because Ayden always asks Caleb to write
the ABC's on his paper for him. SO sweet.
Caleb also asked to color some from his Thomas book, so he did that.
We got alot of chalkboard time in! Marking those vowels and reading those short
And this is what Ayden does while we do chalkboard time. See his big "A" behind him? LOL
He was so proud of it too.
More vowel marking and sentance reading. Caleb thinks
Here's Ayden again, trying to distract us with his sweet smile.
He's completely entertaining and he knows it.
Caleb read his last 2 Owl books! He did great with them. He also had to figure
out which vowel made the correct word.
Ayden is LOVING this color matching game. He does it like 3 times a day, seriously!
Thanks again Carissa!
This bottom right pic is him being happy about doing his very last paper
of his preschool year!
We did some "science" work for our last week and planted sunflower seeds!
I had actually bought these when we bought our vegetable seeds MONTHS ago, but
forgot about them!
They love our garden SO much that they were so excited to plant something else!
The boys did some frog catching too! LOL Their faces are just priceless.
Seeing the boys interest in books makes me smile. This year has been trying,
sometimes frustrating, & crazy hectic, but SO worth it. I will never
ever regret putting time into my kids, but I'd regret it if
I didn't, that's for sure.
It's not ideal for everyone, but it is for us right now.
And I'm grateful that God gave me the hubby he did, and gave him the job he has
to allow me to stay home with our kids. I would miss so much if I couldn't.
SO thankful for my job, my ministry at this point in my life, to care for my
kids, teach & guide them, and take care of our house & my hubby.

Such an exceptionally positive note to end the school year! What a challenging but rewarding task you have undertaken! You're giving your boys such a wonderful start to their education, not just in academics, but with Biblical principles and life skills. Keep up the great work! Love, Mom
