School updates! First half of October..

The month of October came with beautiful weather! Still in the 80's and perfect for some fingerpainting fun!

We made beautiful fall trees! :)

Ay is doing great working on his letters! He's recognizing them well!

Here's Caleb doing one of his papers. It said to draw sprinkles on  the paper but he wanted to use real ones :)..

Caleb is working on learning his money, and writing his every day letters & words..

This month we implemented boxes for Caleb's work. The first box holds his paperwork/flashcards for the day, and the box under it (orange) holds a suprise! This has turned out SO great and has become awesome incentive for him to finish and do the job right. He really loves it!

Caleb loved his suprise of alphabet bingo! We had a great time playing!

Here was his box another time! Word blocks, a book, and money for learning. Math is definitely his favorite subject!

Caleb really loved this part! I took some things from the boys room and put labels on them with different prices on them (using pennies). He did awesome.

Another week Ay worked on letter "F". He enjoyed all the fishies!

This is a fave for Ay, doing his color wheel, matching the clothespins!

He did some sorting of colors, pattern making, and picture book reading..

And he loooves matching his shapes!

Back to Caleb..we've been working on his Awana verses and incorporating those into school time. It works well and he really has them memorized by Awana night! :)

Caleb got a new hoodie, and decided to wear it while doing school that day. LOL

Here he is making a house for one of his projects..

The project was to build a house with paper, draw windows & doors on it, and write our address on it so he remembers it! He really loved it and I loved that he's memorizing our address!

I obviously photoshopped the part where our address was ;)

He found sidewalk chalk for a suprise this day! He was stoked, as was Ay! They had a

great time getting into it!
